Possible Proposal of Product Development of Japanese Vaccine, Drug, and Diagnostics for the Control of Infectious Diseases from Academia

INTRODUCTION

The annual JIHS/CCS/DIT Symposium is a key part of the ARO Alliance for Southeast and East Asia (ARISE)’s annual meeting. The symposium this year, co-hosted with Nagasaki University, named as the Joint NU-JIHS Symposium/6th JIHS/CCS/DIT Symposium on Clinical Research and Trials will focus on innovations, policy trends in vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics in Japan and overseas, while also highlight the strategies to strengthen international collaboration for infectious disease control in the region.

By attending this symposium, participants will learn more about:
1. Policy trends and strategies for infectious disease control in Japan and globally.
2. Current challenges and innovations in the development of vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics.
3. Clinical trial design and evidence generation, including regional perspectives and best practices.
4. International clinical research and trials networks for infectious diseases in the region.
